	Accredited North American Riding for the Handicapped (NAHRA) member - with Certified Instructor

	Member of United Way of Sierra Vista and Cochise County.

The mission of C.A.N.T.E.R. is to promote the health and independence of individuals with disabilities using therapeutic riding in a safe and caring environment.

Under the supervision of trained instructors C.A.N.T.E.R employs Hippo-therapy and Therapeutic Riding, recognized forms of therapy, for the treatment of individuals with physical and /or mental impairments. Physically, the horse's movement can improve and influence equilibrium, reflexes, coordination, sensory motor skills and posture. Psychologically, Riding Therapy develops self awareness, self esteem, self discipline, and improves concentration. The bond between horse and rider provides strong motivation for achievement like no other form of therapy.

"Fence-by-the-Foot" donations needed!
Everyone is encouraged to donate $2.30 per foot to help recoup the cost of the essential fencing we installed this summer.
